Welcome to Nueve Football Academy

Nueve Football Academy was founded with a mission: to train with purpose and develop players both on and off the field.

Based in Delaware and led by Coach O — a coach with NCAA Division I and elite youth club experience — Nueve offers high-level training grounded in intention, discipline, and a deep passion for the game.

We specialize in:

  • Individual and small group technical sessions

  • Position-specific development

  • Game film analysis

  • Player mentorship and mindset work

Each session is tailored, high-energy, and designed to help players grow their skills, confidence, and soccer IQ.

Beyond the pitch, a portion of all proceeds supports youth development initiatives through the Full Bucket Foundation in Senegal — using the game to give back.

If you’re serious about your development — and ready to train with purpose — join us on the pitch.

My Journey With the Game

I was born in the U.S., but spent most of my childhood in Senegal, West Africa — where football is more than a sport, it’s a way of life. I grew up playing from sunrise to sunset, barefoot on hot sand, with nothing but a ball and a deep love for the game.

Back then, I never imagined I’d one day play with cleats, travel across the U.S. for matches, or compete in front of crowds. Soccer opened doors I never thought possible — it gave me experiences, friendships, and purpose. And along the way, I never forgot that I had friends who were even more talented than me, but never got the chance to play beyond our neighborhood.

That’s one of the main reasons I coach today.

I want my players to understand the opportunity they have — to train, to be part of a team, to learn from coaches, and to play on quality fields. These are things we didn’t always have growing up. I remind my players to take it seriously, stay grateful, and never take the game for granted.

My biggest development as a player and coach came under Kevin Sherry at Louisiana Tech University, one of the best football minds I’ve ever worked with. I had the honor of playing for him and later joining his staff, where I focused on video analysis, opponent scouting, and helping players grow individually.

I started this journey to share what the game has taught me — not just technique and tactics, but gratitude, discipline, and respect for the game itself. My mission now is to help the next generation chase their potential, on and off the pitch.
